Lecture: Pathogenesis and immunity mechanism of pathogenic microorganism

Lecturer: Professor Huang Jinhai from the School of Life Sciences

About the Lecture: The lecture gives a brief introduction on the epidemic pathogenic microorganisms and their damage, pathogenesis and immune response, based on which the modern immunology, and the effects of biotechnology on the development of biological drugs and vaccines are the highlights. The lecture also introduces the supporting role of the disciplines of biological materials, modern biological informatics, and big data analytics on the development of emerging inter-disciplines, such as predicting vaccinology.
