About the Lecture:

Dr. Shi Hu obtained his PhD from Dept of Chemistry, Tsinghua University in 2012 and conducted postdoctoral research in North Carolina State University and Pennsylvania State University thereafter. He was then introduced into School of Science, Tianjin University as a Professor in Aug 2016. His research interests span the controllable synthesis of ultrathin nanostructures, their application in electro-catalysis and gas-sensing materials with most of the results published in J. Am. Chem. Soc. and other prestigious journals. He is the principle investigator of one national science funding of China and one industry funding from Sinopec.
