Tianjin University held various activities to celebrate the Spring Festival for students who stay on campus. On Lunar New Year’s Eve, both Peiyangyuan Campus and Weijin Road Campus held activities to celebrate the coming Spring Festival.

Mr. Han Qinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University, and Mr. Ming Dong, Vice President of Tianjin University attended the event.

Mr. Han and Mr. Ming talked with students on their needs, study and life as well as their New Year’s resolutions, sent New Year gift packages and wishes, and took group photos with the students.

All students who stay on campus during the Spring Festival have free lunch and dinner on January 21 and breakfast on January 22 at canteens on campus.

Delicious food creates festival atmosphere, including delicious steaming dumplings, braised pork, and chickens... Students are grateful and sent New Year greetings to chefs of the canteens.

All schools and colleges of Tianjin University also organized various activities to welcome the Chinese New Year. The School of Architecture organized New Year's party and sent customized gift packages to all students; The Law School prepared New Year snacks and Spring Festival couplets; The College of Intelligence and Computing has prepared a mysterious gift packages themed “intelligence and computing”; The School of Mechanical Engineering organized a tea party for students, where teachers and students share festive food and chat freely about their life on campus.
