The 2017 Conference of the International Association of Procedural Law

From November 8-10, 2017, the 2017 Conference of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL 2017 China) will take place at Tianjin University. The Conference is co-organized by the International Association of Procedural Law and China Law Society, and undertaken by the China Civil Procedural Law Society and Tianjin University. About 250 representatives from both China and other countries will attend the conference.

Founded in 1950, the International Association of Procedural Law aims to promote the development of the study of procedural law by encouraging collaboration among lawyers and academics in different countries and the exchange of information on sources, publications, practice and adjudication, and participate with other juridical experts to promote the study of procedural matters in national and international research institutions.

The theme of this Conference is “On Judicial Management from Comparative Perspective”. The Conference will discuss the topics on case management, court management, structure of court system, and fact-finding and legal reasoning.
