The award ceremony of the 7th Bali International Choir Festival was held on July 28. After fierce competition between over a hundred teams from 16 countries, the TJU Peiyang Chorus distinguished itself with four awards.

Hosted by the Bandung Chorus Society, the Bali International Choral Festival invited the world’s most authoritative experts to serve as judges and consultants and collaborated with a number of international choral events to identify outstanding teams and provide a platform for world-class professional choral teams.

This music feast lasted nearly one week, attracted numerous teams and prestigious artists and presented audiences with euphony and joy. Despite the 7-hour flight, members of the Peiyang Chorus rehearsed from the very beginning of the first morning. During the event, they performed Beatus, Three Gregorian Reflections, Living in my wound, Animal Crackers, Microcosmos with passion, high spirit and expertise.

The Chinese Consul to Denpasar, Indonesia, Gou Haodong and his wife, watched the performance of the Chorus and talked with the chief conductor, Professor Ren Baoping. He spoke highly of their excellent performance and hoped the Peiyang Chorus continue to be a cultural exchange messenger between China and Indonesia and contribute more and better works of art for the people of both counties.
