After the ceremony, academicians Zhao Dongyuan, Zhang Hongjie, Ma Shengming, Jiang Lei, Han Buxing, Tan Weihong, Tian He, Xie Yi, and Professor Seth Marder gave lectures.

At present, molecular aggregation research covers almost all cutting-edge directions in chemical fields, thus a must for chemistry to achieve further development. The establishment of the TJU Institute of Molecular Aggregation Science reflects the TJU’s push for crossing and integrating disciplines and “Double-First Class Project”, an initiative to develop world-class universities and first-class disciplines. This institute will be based on scientific research and talent cultivation, explore new scientific phenomena and theories, promote scientific integration and growth, and realize product development and transformation.
