On September 29, Tianjin University held a recruitment-themed salon titled "Peiyang Gathers Elites". The event aimed to enhance talent recruitment efforts and support schools and departments in selecting top candidates.

Weng Zhe, Deputy Director of the Teachers' Work Department and the Office of Human Resources, delivered the opening speech, stressing the crucial role of talent in the university's development and reaffirming the office’s commitment to talent recruitment. He expressed hope for the event's success, setting a positive tone for the discussions.

Li Jing, a senior human resources expert, led an interactive session on recruitment strategies, focusing on topics such as the current competitive landscape, employer branding, and effective interviewing techniques.

Han Manyu, Associate Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and Li Siliang, Executive Associate Dean of the School of Earth System Science, shared their experiences in talent recruitment and development, prompting in-depth discussions among attendees.

Li Dachao, Director of the Teachers' Work Department and the Office of Human Resources, outlined recent personnel policies and provided guidance on talent management. He highlighted the university’s commitment to faculty development and reform, in line with directives from President Xi Jinping and the National Education Conference. He also detailed ongoing efforts to strengthen the teaching and research teams, improve support staff, and enhance career development services.

Looking forward, the Office of Human Resources plans to offer additional services, including briefings on new personnel policies and offline recruitment events, to further promote Tianjin University's talent recruitment.
