Recently, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the School of Precision Instrument and Opto-electronics Engineering of Tianjin University and the Zhongkeheguang Applied Laser Technology Institute Company, Ltd.

Both sides agreed to join efforts to achieve complementary advantages and resources sharing. Specifically, the Tianjin basis of the Institute of Optoelectronics of the China Academy of Sciences would provide an internship base for laser and optoelectronics undergraduate and graduate students of the School at Tianjin University. At the same time, Tianjin University would play a full role in training of students in specialized courses for the Institute.

In the field of science research and industrial cooperation, various plans for cooperation would be developed, including use of joint laboratories and research.
