The National Commendation Congress on Civilized Spiritual Construction was held in Beijing on November 17, 2017. In the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People, President Xi Jinping met more than 600 delegates who attended the event. Tianjin University was awarded the title National Civilized Campus, and the President, Zhong Denghua received the award on behalf of Tianjin University.
Tianjin University attaches great importance to the development of a civilized campus, and formulated The Implementation Plan to Create a Civilized Campus at Tianjin University. Tianjin University has implemented detailed measures and made remarkable achievements.
With the joint efforts of all the faculty and students, Tianjin University has made great progress. Having undergone strict examination and verification, Tianjin University stood out and was awarded the title. This was the first year the title was conferred nationwide.
