In order to strengthen the construction of the TJU swimming team in the long run, younger team members were sent to compete in the event to increase experience at high level games. Though faced with a great number of professional athletes, the swimmers from TJU displayed their sportsmanship before the whole country. Hetong Zhang won the silver medal and the bronze medal in the women’s Group A 200m breaststroke and the women’s 100m breaststroke respectively, Tianhao Lee ranked second in the men’s Group A 100m breaststroke and fourth in the men’s 200m breaststroke.
