On April 5th, 2018, the Health Science Platform (HSP) held the 2nd International Advisory Board Appointment Ceremony. Wang Shuxin (vice-president of Tianjin University), Jay Siegel (dean of HSP), Feng Cuiling (party secretary of School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology) attended this appointment ceremony.

Jay Siegel delivered a brief introduction of the 2nd International Advisory Board of the HSP and offered a warm welcome to the attending board members. After the speech, vice-president Wang Shuxin and Jay Siegel jointly issued the appointment certificates and medals to the eight members of the International Advisory Board of the HSP and expressed sincerely greeting to them. 

After the appointment ceremony, the 2nd International Advisory Board held the 1st discussion meeting, about the candidate’s evaluation of the Peiyang Forum for Young Scholars, interim review of HSP International faculty members and the future development plan of HSP. 

The 2nd International Advisory Board of HSP consists of 14 international high-level experts, from seven different countries, including America, Italy, Sweden, etc. Within the board, there are three Nobel Laureates and five academicians. International Advisory Board members are dedicated in providing professional internationalization consultation for HSP, offering leading scientific technology and management concepts for HSP international construction, pushing forward the development of the HSP.
