TJU and RMIT Sign a Project Proposal for an Advanced Automotive Technologies Center

Recently, a Project Proposal for an Advanced Automotive Technologies Center was signed between Tianjin University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT). Both universities will join hands to cooperate in the area of advanced automotive technologies and conduct collaborative research focusing on world academic frontiers.

During the meeting, the Chinese directors of the Centers for Advanced Automotive Technologies and Design Innovation and 3D Printing gave reports on the development and plans for the centers. Both universities indicated they would continue to support in-depth collaboration of the centers and promote student exchanges through the programs of the centers.

RMIT was established in 1887, and is well-known in the world for its high-quality education and pioneering research subjects. For many years, the two universities have worked well with high-level reciprocal visits, joint research and training of administrative staff. On February 23, 2017, the two universities signed a Collaborative Agreement for an RMIT and Tianjin University Joint Research Center to co-establish research centers for Advanced Automotive Technologies and Design Innovation and 3D Printing.
